Elementary, which airs on the CBS Television Network, is the season’s #1 new program, averaging 12.88 million viewers.

Elementary wins its Thursday (10:00-11:00 PM) time period in viewers, adults 18-49 (3.0/09) and adults 25-54 (4.1/10).

The series is also an international hit.

Elementary is the #1 show on Sky Living in the UK, a top five series on Global in Canada, the #1 drama on Network Ten in Australia, the #1 U.S. series in Spain, and a top five U.S. series in Germany and Italy.

Dick has so many connections to other characters. In many ways, even more than Superman or Batman, Nightwing is the soul, the linchpin, of the DCU. He’s well respected by everyone, known to the JLA, the Titans, the Outsiders, Birds of Prey – everyone looks to him for advice, for friendship, for his skills. He’s the natural leader of the DCU. His loss would devastate everyone and create ripples through the DCU.
